I know I posted about Soondubu Chigae yesterday, but I hadn’t figured out the recipe. Then I looked it up on the internet… so here’s my version.
Soondubu Chigae
- Chop up some chicken or pork or beef into slices. Also chop a quarter of an onion into quarter inch pieces.
- Fry the meat and onion in the bottom of a pot until onions slightly translucent.
- Add water to pot with granulated dashi stock with 2 tsp ground chili and t tsp fish sauce.
- Allow the mixture to come to a boil. Meanwhile, cut soft tofu into large pieces and optionally cut up some vegetables into 1 inch pieces.
- When boiling, add the veggies and tofu, some kimchi, if desired, three frozen shrimp and one egg.
- Allow to boil for a short while longer, then serve! Yummmmm
