Cheap cat toys: the door April 25, 2011

So I noticed that my cats love to peer under the door and try to catch anything that might be passing by underneath.Here’s the game: one will notice the other’s shadow and stick her arm as far as she can reach under the door. The other will freak out, “What the heck is that arm doing there?” and go after it. The first one will be satisfied that something really is under the door and will attack the other’s paw and so on and so forth. They played this for half an hour yesterday and the day before.
How do you play if you don’t have cats? Well, easy. Just substitute the shadow of your fingers (never actually use your own fingers or toes to play unless you like them to be nipped) or some sort of cat toy. Stick the toy into the side of the door or under the door while your cat is passing by and watch the fun begin… not a cheap cat toy but a FREE cat toy ^_^ joy.
So cute! My cat likes to do the same thing but on the side of the door… im so afraid that one day she is gonna get her paw hurt! Maybe i should train her to play at the bottom more.
